About Thomas
I have years of teaching experience, having taught both in classrooms and as a one-to-one tutor for students aged 7-18. After one year of classroom teaching, I was rated "Outstanding" by Teach First, and every class that I have ever taught achieved above expected progress in public exams. 100% of my students have passed their examinations in the subjects that I taught them. In addition, I have a 100% Oxbridge offer rate for students that I have coached for interviews and entrance exams.
My teaching is based around focused and deliberate practice. This means that I ensure that each of my students fully understands what it is that they are working towards, how they will achieve this, and how every activity will contribute to their goal. I understand that a one size fits all approach is not appropriate for all students and, therefore, differentiate work to ensure that every student makes the best possible progress, with a curriculum that is bespoke to them.
