About Eloïse
I am intimately familiar with the process of language learning, especially in the context of working towards examinations. I believe having clear goals is what makes learning enjoyable and efficient, and I use this philosophy to guide how I teach my students.
My background is international and I am an avid language-learner. I am half French half English and quadrilingual. I obtained a 7/7 in my higher level IB French language and literature examinations, and just graduated with a first class degree in Japanese from Oxford.
I have a year of experience with tutoring IB subjects, and two years experience helping students with personal statements for Oxford/Cambridge. I was also a private French and English teacher in Japan for a year.
I tutor for University admissions (interview preparation, personal statement reviews), IB-level examinations, and JLPT preparation (up to N2). I use a focused approach to ensure the best results, while also leaving room for practical language skills.
