About Thomas
Oxford Physics student with 4A*s at A level (Maths, Further Maths, Physics and German) and grade 9s in 10 GCSEs. I enjoy helping students understand and appreciate maths and physics. Outside of my studies, I love playing ice hockey and chess.

My lessons are flexible around the needs of my students, however they will often last an hour involving a recap of material, worked examples, followed by some problems that I guide the student through with prompts and a set of questions for homework. The homework is then marked and discussed at the beginning of the next lesson.
My lessons are aimed at secondary school level (GCSE and A-level) where I have experience helping students catch-up on missed lessons and improving exam technique at school.
If you're preparing for an Oxbridge interview and admissions test (e.g. PAT, ENGAA, NSAA or STEP), I would develop your problem solving techniques through mock interviews and working through questions from STEM competitions, such as the BPhO or UKMT.
