About Callum
I have recently graduated with an Upper Second Class Ba Hons in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University. I specialise in economics tutoring and I can also tutor maths, having studied this at A level. I can offer advice on University application process from experience with the UCAS process, personal statements and admissions tests/ interviews.
I began tutoring during my second year of university, taking on 3 regular students. Since then, I have taken on more students in each year. Following my graduation in July 2020 the 2020/2021 academic year has become my first year of tutoring on a full-time basis, and as such I am taking on a larger group of students. I currently have 3 remaining spaces from a limit of 12 students.
My teaching method is based on tackling questions with students, I believe this approach enables the student and myself to identify specific areas of the subject in which improvements can be made. I can offer help with explanations of concepts/ topic areas, essay writing and revision techniques
