About Erika
I have been in EMS for 12 years. I graduated high school in 2012. I graduated 3rd in my class. I also went straight into EMT school and passed the NREMT straight out of high school and passed on my first try. It was not easy at all. In between that I was diagnosed with cancer which posed a new challenge. I learned new ways of studying. In 2022 I finished my paramedic and passed the NREMT for that one the first try as well. So it is possible if you know your strengths and weaknesses and what study habits work best for you. Going through chemo and having the “chemo fog” brain and having to retrain my brain to remember things was hard. But it was all worth it. You got this and don’t give up!
