About Emili
Website: (concealed information) My name is Emili and I am an aspiring actress. I graduated from university and started a production company because that was my dream. I love works that explore difficult topics and share important messages. That’s why I started my own company and now teaching others. I want others to be able to get the training I did but not have to pay $70,000 to go to a drama school. I love teaching and learning so tutoring was the next step over. When I started drama, I was a very anxious young child and I was pushed into auditioning for a play and got the main antagonist. I went from not speaking in front of people to being a mean and very unafraid character. I stepped into the role and all of a sudden the shy Emili went away and I was confident. It took time to keep the confidence even when I am not a character but that is something that drama can do for you as it did for me. For me, it helped my anxiety and now it is my career. Hopefully, it can help others too.

As an actor myself, I know how hard it can be to find proper and affordable training. You want more and to grow but classes can get very expensive. I am offering to bring an environment that will help study, hone your craft and learn, whether you are trying something new or just doing it for school. I want to give people the education I received at an affordable rate. I have a set lesson plan with different steps but will be adapted to each person and how they learn. Everyone learns differently and if education was catered to how people learn, we would get much more out of it. Acting and drama isn’t only for people studying or looking to be a trained actor/actress. Being able to speak confidently, articulate and learning to be vulnerable are skills you will use throughout your entire life. By exploring different characters you explore parts of yourself that you have never noticed before. And it is a way to connect and not feel so alone in this big world. So many scripts and stories, whether you write one or act in one, there is always text that will feel like it was made for you.
