About Uma
Initially I struggled alot to earn some money, I tried different jobs, but none of it got me the money and satisfaction needed. But once I started teaching, I gained a good confidence and slowly progressed in my career.
A few months back, even though I had a full time job, I took up teaching Mathematics to a 10th kid. I made sure to make time out of my schedule and teach. That's how I'm passionate about teaching.
Also I know what's actually lacking in the way things are taught.
Subjects have become a means to score marks while the focus on understanding the concepts have vanished. Which inturn is causing major issue in today's competitive world. Eg: Unemployment.
So if things should get better then, teaching is the only means. I'm definitely not a person to teach only for marks.
Having faced failures taught me how to get better in the things I failed at . That experience is so valuable and has brought me this far in life, and made me very strong and courageous.
