About Raphaëlle
I am Raphie, I am from Bordeaux, France.
I have a Master in Education and I am a certified French teacher from the Alliance Française of Paris.
I have been teaching French in private and public schools in the U.S for more than 5 years. I also taught adults classes at the Alliance Française.
I LOVE to teach kids !

- My lessons are student-centered, interactive and designed to follow the student's interests.
- A lesson typically starts by a little conversation on how we are feeling and what we have been up to during the week. It is a good way to warm up while improving conversation skills.
Then it is time to start the lesson. I use fun materials (texts, videos and all types of media) to keep my students engaged and exposed to the Francophone culture. The emphasis is on speaking, reading and writing skills !
We always finish with a bit of grammar and fun GAMES !
- Also I love to share my experiences as a French person living in the US and to talk about cultural differences !
