About Gina

Hello students! Let me tell you a bit more about myself. I had the fantastic chance to work in Abu Dhabi for six years, where I not only fulfilled my job responsibilities but also had the joy of teaching some Spanish to my colleagues. This experience ignited a passion for teaching, revealing how much I enjoy sharing my language and culture with others. Subsequently, I made the decision to travel to Canada for my master's degree. This new chapter in my life provided fresh perspectives and opportunities to interact with people from diverse cultures. Throughout my academic journey, I discovered that teaching my native language is where I find true happiness and fulfillment. Teaching Spanish is something that genuinely excites me. Witnessing students' progress and growing more comfortable with the language as we embark on this exciting learning journey together brings me immense joy. I'm here to offer a supportive learning environment where you can explore Spanish fun and enrichingly. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you and assisting you in achieving your Spanish language goals. Let's embark on this exciting linguistic adventure together. Learning Spanish from a Colombian offers an authentic connection to Colombian culture, from food to music and traditions, providing a richer experience. I understand English speakers' specific challenges when learning Spanish, allowing me to address those aspects effectively. Sharing my experiences of traveling or living in Colombia can emphasize how learning from a Colombian can better prepare them for interactions with native speakers or visits to the country.
