About Ethel
My mother enrolled me in private art lessons at the age of 6, and I look back at how it shaped my young decisions; grateful for how far it has taken me to this day.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Fine Arts in honours, from the University of Calgary. My passion for the craft, community, industry, has led me on an exciting creative career path, through gallery exhibitions, photography studios, graphic design, and now in marketing.
I hope to inspire students it's possible to create a living you enjoy through interest and passions. Or even if you just want to pursue it for personal reasons. It takes small steps, especially that first one, to reach your goals.
I look forward to meeting you!

I've been tutoring art skills and techniques for the past 10 years, specializing with young children ages 7 - 12. Each student is unique in experience, level and talent. I take the time to learn what you already know and what you want to achieve. Basic lesson plans can be followed, or customized, depending on preference. Throughout my career I practice patience and understanding so students are happy with their progress and growth.
