About the lesson

As an English and Maths tutor, my approach is centered around clarity, confidence-building, and tailored learning. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual’s pace, strengths, and learning goals.

Teaching Methodology & Techniques
I use a concept-first approach, making sure students fully understand the "why" behind what they’re learning. I combine traditional methods (like worked examples and step-by-step problem-solving) with interactive tools (games, visual aids, and real-world applications) to keep lessons engaging and effective.

In English, I focus on building strong reading comprehension, grammar, writing structure, and vocabulary skills through discussions, practice exercises, and creative writing prompts. For Maths, I emphasize logical thinking, pattern recognition, and confidence in problem-solving through guided practice and regular review.

A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is structured into 3 parts:

Quick Recap – A brief review of the previous lesson to reinforce retention.

Core Focus – Introduction and breakdown of a new topic or skill using examples and student interaction.

Practice & Feedback – Targeted exercises, followed by personalized feedback and discussion to solidify understanding.

I always end the lesson with a mini-assessment or reflection to track progress and prepare for next time.
