I am currently studying Modern Languages at University but feel that doing an A-level in Maths brought incredible value to my life. I want to make Maths easier and more accessible for as many young people as possible, showing them that it is a useful tool to have even if it doesn’t relate to their future career.

I have been a GCSE maths tutor for three years and have tutored people in years 8, 9, 10 and 11. I like adapting my lesson structure to the needs and ages of my tutees. For example, sometimes sessions can cover homework, (explaining each question and ensuring they are up to date on school work), doing exam practice (completing full papers, seeing how they approach questions and offering tips/tricks) or explaining specific topics (teaching/reteaching a particular topic and practising questions to build confidence).
