About Navy
I have over 12 years of experience teaching Piano and enjoy helping college students develop musical confidence through structured and enjoyable lessons. I believe every student deserves patient guidance and a learning experience that matches their individual needs.
My teaching style is friendly, interactive, and practical. I explain concepts clearly using simple English and demonstrate techniques that students can easily apply during practice.
I use innovative methods such as digital learning resources, rhythm activities, ear training, listening exercises, and customized learning plans. These techniques help students stay motivated while improving their piano skills.
Students improve note reading, scales, chords, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, and expressive performance. I provide regular encouragement and constructive feedback that supports continuous growth.

I understand that every learner is unique, so I create lessons according to their age, experience, learning speed, and musical interests. This personalized method helps students stay motivated and achieve steady progress.
I explain concepts using real-life examples and practical situations. Rhythm is connected to everyday activities like clapping, walking, or dancing. Music theory is taught through popular songs so students can understand how notes, scales, and chords work in actual music. This makes learning easier and more interesting.
Understanding comes before memorization in my classes. I ensure students fully understand every lesson before moving forward. They learn correct hand position, finger movement, posture, reading music, rhythm, and expression while also developing confidence in performance.
Communication is always open and friendly. Students are encouraged to ask questions without hesitation. I explain difficult topics using different methods until they become clear. Regular feedback, encouragement, and practice tips help students improve continuously. Parents also receive updates whenever necessary.
Integrity guides my teaching style. I believe in being honest, respectful, and supportive throughout the learning process. I encourage students to build good practice habits, patience, and self-discipline instead of focusing only on fast results.
Apart from piano lessons, I teach keyboard skills, music theory, sight reading, ear training, improvisation, chord building, rhythm exercises, and beginner composition. My objective is to develop complete musicians who understand music deeply and enjoy playing with confidence.
