About Fatima
I’m a dedicated and patient math tutor with over 400 hours of private tutoring experience. Teaching has always been my dream job, and I’m deeply passionate about helping students enjoy and succeed in math. I hold a PhD in Mathematics and have over 400 hours of experience in private tutoring of grade 5-12 high school and university students. My teaching approach is personalised to each student’s level and learning style, ensuring a solid grasp of core concepts before moving to problem-solving. After each small section, I review and practice exercises with the student to confirm full understanding before progressing. A typical lesson includes a short review, guided examples, and independent practice with feedback. I focus on simplifying complex ideas and building confidence in Grades 5–12 math courses as well as university-level subjects such as Math 100/101, Calculus, Algebra, and Statistics.
