About Yasiru
My name is Yasiru. I began my tutoring journey three years ago, focusing on core GCSE subjects.
With a BSc in Medical Physiology and as a current medical student, I bring a deep understanding of the sciences and a commitment to academic excellence. My background equips me with the knowledge and skills to help students not only learn but truly understand and apply their knowledge effectively.

I focus on core GCSE subjects including Biology, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, and Maths.
My teaching approach is tailored to maximise each student's potential. After an initial meeting (30 minute free lesson) to pinpoint strengths and areas needing improvement, I will structure the lessons addressing these.
Strategies I usually use include past paper questions and homework which will be set to improve their performance. I also make sure to recap any topics the student wishes to revisit, as repetition is key to building confidence and mastery.
