About Alizah
I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in helping students succeed in Mathematics. Having achieved five Grade 9s at GCSE, I understand the importance of building strong foundations and developing effective exam techniques. I also have previous tutoring experience at Kumon and privately, which has helped me develop a patient and adaptable approach to teaching students with different abilities and learning styles. I aim to create a professional and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their confidence. I am committed to helping each student make consistent progress while ensuring that lessons are engaging, structured and tailored to their individual needs.

I offer personalised Secondary and GCSE Maths tutoring for students aged 11–16, with lessons tailored to each student’s ability and individual goals. Lessons are typically 1 hour, focusing on strengthening understanding, identifying areas of difficulty, adapting explanations to suit their learning style and improving exam technique. I have experience tutoring students in Maths -through Kumon and privately - and have achieved five Grade 9s at GCSE, giving me a strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and the skills needed to succeed. My approach is structured, patient and adaptable, with the aim of building both mathematical ability and confidence.
