About Georgette
I'm a Year 12 student, currently studying Maths, Physics and Geography, and absolutely loving every class. I find it extremely fascinating to be able to explore the science behind the world so intensely, and I hope to continue on this path once I get to university.
I also teach GCSE English Lit/Lang, and English as a foreign language (EFL) to non-native speakers. I'm TEFL certified with a 200 hour Level 5 Diploma, of which included a 100 hour general-teaching methodology course. Completing this has equipped me with knowledge and skills on teaching as a whole (how to plan lessons, creating academic materials etc.), which I can use in my teaching of STEM subjects.
I'm friendly, patient, and I understand that classroom-based lessons just don't work for some people. I'd like to try and make Maths/Physics as accessible as possible to anyone who's interested, and work to remove the stigma that such subjects are 'only for those smart enough'.

As a student myself, I'm very understanding of the stresses and pressures of exams. I aim to provide a relaxed, low-pressure environment where me and my students are deserving of equal, mutual respect. My main goal as a tutor is to help students achieve success - however that may look for you!
I am currently working towards A and A* in A-Level Physics and Maths, respectively. I've always had an avid interest in the systems and numbers behind everyday life, and I hope to share this passion through teaching.
I can teach Maths and Physics to students up to GCSE-level. I'm still working towards getting more experience, and I'm always open to reviews and constructive criticism. Hopefully both my grades and love for knowledge can help bridge that gap, and help to grow both mine and my students' passions.
