About Aldo
My background is eclectic : I performed classical studies in high school (i.e. Ancient Greek, Latin and Philosophy), then I graduated in Physics at Sapienza University of Rome, and finally got my major in Quantitative Economics in Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.
I enjoy exploring the unexpected connections between things and the mathematics underlying the phenomena of nature and society.
I have enthusiasm for teaching and a good deal of patience and empathy.

I believe the main ingredient for a successful tutor is passion, once you convey an appreciation for the beauty of the subject then excitement becomes the driving force and the fatigue is for challenge rather than frustration.
Therefore, I tend to teach in an engaging and fun way, providing insight first and then accompanying it with scientific rigor.
During lessons I generally use a tablet (and if you also have a tablet we can interact on the same virtual sheet), pen&paper, videos, interactive quizzes as well as online tools to visualize functions and other mathematical objects.
