About Shyama
Bonjour! I am an experienced French educator, originally from Mauritius. I have worked with students of multilingual and multicultural backgrounds, and I use culturally responsive and relevant pedagogy. I currently teach French in an Ontario elementary school and enjoy creating a positive, welcoming environment where every child feels comfortable learning and expressing themselves. I am patient, caring and adaptable, and I believe that learning French should be meaningful, practical and enjoyable. I look forward to helping you/your child develop confidence and a genuine love for French.
