About Aneta
Hi! I'm a Sooke-based educator with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Alberta and a Social Work diploma earned with distinction.
I've been homeschooling my children since 2021, creating customized lessons that meet each learner where they are. Before that, I spent 12 years managing the finances of three local businesses — handling budgets, payroll, and reconciliations — so I bring real-world math experience into every lesson.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and judgment-free: we'll work at your pace until every concept truly clicks. I offer flexible scheduling with in-person or online sessions. Let's make math make sense!

I'm a Sooke-based home educator (homeschooling since 2021) with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta and a Social Work diploma earned with distinction. For 12 years I managed the finances for three local businesses — budgets, bank reconciliations, payroll, invoicing — so mathematics is a working tool for me, not just a school subject.
How I teach: one-on-one sessions at your pace. I explain each concept with real-world examples, check that it clicks before moving on, and build up from wherever you are — no judgment, no rushing.
What sets my lessons apart: students learn math as a practical life skill, not abstract drills. Whether it's algebra, geometry, or applied problem-solving, I connect every topic to real situations so it sticks. Flexible scheduling, in-person in Sooke or online.
