About Isbah

I’m an undergraduate Neuroscience student at Western University with a strong academic background, including A* grades in Cambridge A-Level Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology. As a current student myself, I understand how challenging certain subjects can feel — and I know firsthand that the right explanation can completely change how a concept clicks. That’s why I focus less on memorization and more on technique, problem-solving strategies, and understanding the “why” behind each idea, so students can confidently tackle any question that comes their way.

I’ve tutored both middle-school and high-school students, including my own siblings, and have helped them improve their grades, strengthen their foundations, and feel more confident in class. These experiences taught me how important patience, clarity, and adaptability are when teaching.

I’m friendly, reliable, and genuinely passionate about helping students learn in a way that feels comfortable and empowering. I take time to understand each student’s learning style and explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged, capable, and motivated to succeed.

About the lesson

I use a clear, step-by-step teaching style that focuses on simplifying difficult concepts and adapting explanations to each student’s learning style. I combine visual methods, guided practice, and real-world examples to help students understand the “why” behind the material, not just memorize it.

A typical lesson includes a quick review of previous topics, a focused explanation of new concepts, practice problems we work through together, and a short summary to reinforce key points. I also provide optional practice questions and study tips for students who want extra support.

What sets me apart is my strong academic background (A* in A-Level Math, Chemistry, and Biology) and my hands-on experience tutoring middle-school and high-school students and helping them improve their grades and confidence. I’m patient, encouraging, and committed to making sure every student truly understands the material.

My lessons are ideal for middle school and high school students who need help in math, English, science, chemistry including organic chemistry — whether they’re catching up, preparing for exams, or aiming to strengthen their overall understanding.
