About Leah
I am an experienced piano instructor with more than 7 years of teaching both online and in person. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a specialization in pedagogy. My goal is to help students develop both strong technique and musical expression.
Sight-reading and score analysis are central parts of my teaching philosophy. Students learn how to approach complex classical repertoire with clarity and confidence. Musical understanding is always encouraged.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I include music theory, music history, and finger exercises to strengthen overall musicianship. These elements support technical and artistic development.
When studying classical works, I also discuss historical performance practices. This helps students better understand the style of the music.
I have worked with beginners, advanced learners, and professional classical pianists. Each student receives thoughtful and patient guidance.
Learning piano should be both challenging and inspiring. I welcome students who wish to explore the depth of piano music.

Historical context is emphasized to connect the music to its style and traditions. Lessons cover sonatas, fugues, variations, and other classical forms to help students understand the structure and meaning behind the music.
Expressive playing is nurtured through tone shaping, phrasing, and dynamic contrast. Finger exercises and technical practice support precision and control. Lessons are personalized for each student’s level and goals.
I work with beginners, advanced learners, composers, and therapy-focused students. Each student receives patient guidance and structured feedback.
Together we will bring classical piano works to life and uncover the artistry within every piece.
