About Joseph

Hi, I’m an A Level student currently studying Product Design, Maths and Physics, and I’ve recently completed my GCSEs, so I fully understand what students are going through right now. Having just experienced the exams myself, I know exactly what techniques, strategies and approaches actually work. I’m passionate about Design and Technology and aim to make the subject clear, engaging and enjoyable. I offer strong support with coursework, exam technique, subject knowledge and study skills, all delivered in a way that feels relatable and student-focused. Being a recent student means I can explain things in a way that truly makes sense, while providing the guidance and confidence students need to succeed.

About the lesson

I provide focused tutoring in GCSE Design and Technology, supporting students with both coursework and written exam preparation. My lessons follow a clear, structured approach, aiding NEA development, and high-quality evaluations, alongside targeted exam technique and mark-scheme strategies. I tailor each session to the student’s needs, helping them stay organised, communicate ideas effectively, and build the confidence to approach every assessment with clarity. Having achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Design and Technology myself, I know exactly what is required for top marks and can offer the kind of detailed, practical guidance that is often hard to find in a subject with limited resources.

I also create fGCSE DT revision resources and am hosting an online revision session — available via my Ko-fi page. (concealed information)
