About Aleksandra

My name is Alexandra, and I'm a native Russian speaker. I began teaching languages at the age of 15. I received my education at a school with an advanced English program. Currently residing in America, I've been tutoring for 8 years—a fact that still surprises me! I have a special connection with children; it's not uncommon for parents to return after a year, telling me their child refuses to learn with anyone else. Similarly, adults reach out after 2 years, realizing they haven't found a better option. In just 6 months, I've successfully elevated students' language proficiency from B1 to B2 levels. I'm not about dull language instruction; my aim is to make learning enjoyable for you. With a deep understanding of how the brain absorbs information, I've developed a unique teaching methodology that's proven effective for both myself and my students. Furthermore, I possess knowledge in psychology and have pursued some higher education. As a highly adaptable teacher, I offer flexibility, allowing lessons to be rescheduled with just three hours' notice. Join me for lessons, and I'll instill in you a passion for Russian culture and engaging sessions that will have you speaking like a native in no time.

About the lesson

"Hi there! In my Russian lessons for foreigners, we start with the basics: learning the letters, pronunciation, and basic grammar. Then we move on to conversational practice, games, and discussions. I try to make the lessons engaging and interactive so that you not only learn but also enjoy the process.

During the lessons, I adjust to your level and pace of learning to help you achieve your language goals. We work on your weaknesses, improve pronunciation and grammar, and, of course, discuss interesting topics about Russian culture and customs.

My goal is to make learning Russian a fun and enjoyable experience that will help you become more confident in speaking Russian!"
