About Aliah

Hi! My name is Aliah, and I’m a third-year university student studying forensics and psychology. Growing up, I struggled a lot with confidence in my speaking and expressing myself properly. Even though I was fluent in both English and French, there were still times where I knew what I wanted to say but couldn’t fully find the words or communicate it the way I meant to. Because of that, I understand how frustrating and overwhelming communication can sometimes feel, and it’s a big part of why I wanted to start helping others through communication support and language learning sessions.

I’ve always believed people learn better when they feel comfortable with the person teaching them. I like creating a calm and supportive environment where sessions feel natural, encouraging, and personalized rather than overly strict or intimidating. Getting to know each individual and adapting lessons to their personality, goals, and learning style is something that’s really important to me because it creates a more meaningful and effective learning experience.

English and French were the first languages I grew up speaking and learning, so being able to share that with others who are willing to learn is something I’m really passionate about. My goal is always to help people feel more confident, understood, and comfortable expressing themselves at their own pace.

About the lesson

My approach is very personalized and centered around making people feel comfortable while learning. I know communication and confidence can look different for everyone, so I adjust sessions based on the individual rather than using one strict method for everybody. My goal is to create a supportive space where people feel heard, understood, and more confident expressing themselves.

Lessons are online and focused on real-life communication skills, confidence building, conversation practice, and self-expression. Sessions may include casual conversations, roleplaying everyday situations, speaking activities, or working through specific communication challenges in a calm and encouraging way.

What sets me apart is my patience and experience working with children and individuals with developmental and mental health needs. I understand how important it is to move at someone’s own pace and adapt to the way they learn best. At the end of the day I want to be able to ensure that my clients are getting the most out of this experience.

These lessons are best for children, teens, and older individuals looking to improve communication skills, social confidence, and comfort speaking with others.
