About Ugurcan
I was born in Turkey and moved to the UK in 2001.
Growing up in Turkey, we didn't have much, so my parents decided the UK was the place where their children could at least get a good education and have better opportunities. Fast forward to 2022 my dad was right. However, through primary to college, I had to overcome many challenges and barriers, which was at the forefront of why I became a teacher because the youth today face similar changes. So If you let me, I'd like to teach your children maths but also teach them a great deal about life and the importance of discipline, resilience and hard work.
