About Uma
I have PhD Degree in Chemistry and I was Assistant Professor by profession in India. Having more than nine years of teaching experience to undergraduates and six years of tutoring experience in home tutoring, I am passionate to teach Mathematics, Science and Chemistry.

I employ strategies that keeps students interested in the subject. Some of them are as follows:
• Correlating examples from the real world is very successful technique in developing interest in the subject.
• Always allow time in class for questions and answers session
• Using different teaching styles to accommodate visual, auditory, hands on practice leaners
• Motivate students to ask questions which helps me to know about their knowledge and understanding of the subject
• Being open and approachable, ensuring I provide time to students outside the class to ask questions and share their opinions
• I promote an inclusive classroom environment and make the students learn at their own pace as every student is unique and has a different learning aptitude but always with consideration for due and end dates
