I seek to engage students as total persons in consideration of those things which serve to produce: a positive sense of self; a sense of competency in life; an ability to interact and learn with other human beings, but yet recognizing the limitations of their abilities. My teaching therefore, involves the presentation of theories and to engage students as total human beings in their struggle. We are all human beings; we bleed, laugh, cry, and such similarities help us to find a common ground, yet knowledge and experience helps differentiate us. I seek to engage them as total persons in their thinking. I am also driven to engage them as total persons in their behaviors and choices.
