About Mamadou

I am a dedicated and passionate mathematics tutor with many years of experience helping students of all levels develop confidence and achieve academic success. My background combines advanced mathematical expertise with a strong ability to explain concepts simply, clearly and at a pace that makes students feel comfortable and supported. What motivates me most is seeing students transform their difficulties into strengths. I believe that every learner is capable of understanding mathematics when guided with patience, structure and the right methodology. My teaching style is friendly, reassuring and adapted to each student’s personality and goals. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of learners: high school students preparing for exams, cégep and university students facing more advanced topics, and adult learners returning to mathematics after a long break. This experience has given me a deep understanding of common challenges and effective strategies to help students overcome them. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where questions are encouraged, mistakes are part of the process, and progress is celebrated. Students often tell me that my explanations help them “finally understand” topics they once found intimidating, which is the greatest reward for me as a teacher. About the lesson

My teaching approach is based on clarity, structure and progressive understanding. I always start by identifying the student’s current level, strengths and difficulties. Once this is clear, I adapt the lesson to the student’s learning style, using simple explanations, visual intuition and real examples. I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind every concept, not just memorize formulas.
I use a step-by-step method:
1) Brief explanation of the concept
2) Guided practice together
3) Independent practice with feedback
4) Review and clarification to ensure full understanding
