About Adam

A passionate, friendly Math tutor with 12 years experience, offering fully interactive classes, high quality class notes with every class, homework as required and continuous support outside of the classroom.

I graduated with my PhD from the Wolfson School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Loughborough University.

I later accepted an offer from GE Aviation (General Electric) as a Software Engineer.
Now, living in France and working as a private Maths tutor and loving it!

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Dr Adam and I've been teaching Mathematics for over 12 years to students from as young as 8 years old, who want to build a solid foundation in logic and reasoning, to students who need specialised exam support in order to achieve the grades they need to excel in their academic careers.

My lessons are fully interactive and aim to challenge my students to ensure they are always stimulated and constantly improving.
All of my students receive high quality class notes after each lesson which they will be able to refer to whenever they need to look back at topics that we have previously covered in class.
They will also receive regular homework to test and help retain the knowledge of the material that we cover during my classes.

I'm more than just a Maths teacher, I am a mentor to my students and offer advice on how to optimise time spent studying for exams so that they can get the most out of the work that they put in.
I also offer continuous support inside and outside of the class so that if my students should get stuck or have difficulties, whether this is at school, with their homework or during my classes, I will always be available to offer additional help and support.

Thanks to my extensive experience in teaching Mathematics, I have learned the most common mistakes that I see students make time and time again, so I ensure that these pitfalls are resolved from the beginning so that my students get a head start when it comes to achieving the best grades possible in their exams.
