About Iaroslav
I'm a PhD in Physics with over seven years of experience helping students develop confidence in physics. I've worked as both a private tutor and a university Teaching Assistant (TA), where I was recognized with a Best Physics TA award in 2021.
My goal as a tutor is to make challenging concepts intuitive and approachable. Whether preparing for exams, tackling tricky assignments, or simply wanting to understand physics better, I shape my lessons around each student's needs.
I enjoy seeing students go from "I don't get this" to "this actually makes sense!" That's the best part of teaching for me.

My tutoring approach is student-centered and adaptable. At the beginning of each session, I identify the student's current main challenges: whether that's clarifying lecture material, reviewing specific concepts, or strengthening problem-solving skills. I then guide the lesson to fit those needs, combining explanations with targeted examples and practice problems.
A typical lesson begins by identifying what concepts the student finds most challenging and assessing their current understanding, move into discussion or problem walkthroughs, and finish with practice or questions to reinforce learning.
My lessons are for high-school and first-year university students who want to build confidence, deepen conceptual understanding, and improve exam performance in Physics.
