About Laura
I am a Linguistics Postgraduate from UCL with a passion for languages and teaching. I am interested in helping both children and adults to develop their Spanish skills, since I know how to create personalised lessons according to the needs, age and level of the learner. My past experience as a learner of English and French makes me sympathetic towards my students, and provides me first-hand knowledge of the best learning techniques and methods. My teaching experience includes working at an Outstanding secondary school in London, where I taught Spanish to years 7 to 9. This means that I am confident in preparing students for their GCSE in Spanish. Before moving to the UK, I taught Spanish to university students and worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). Laura taught Spanish GCSE to my daughter and the results were very positive. Apart from an outstanding teacher, she's also very supportive and enthusiastic on her teaching.
