About Bao

Hi, I’m Bao! I’m a PhD researcher in Computer Science at Swinburne University of Technology, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. I have completed a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honors) and have several years of experience studying, researching, and teaching Computer Science.

I currently teach Computer Science subjects at university, including Introduction to Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, IT Security, Malware Analysis, and Technology Design Project. My research has also been published at leading international conferences in cybersecurity and computing.

I understand that programming and Computer Science can feel challenging, especially when you are encountering a concept for the first time. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.

Whether you are completely new to programming, preparing for university assessments, or looking to strengthen your technical skills, I will tailor each lesson to your current level and learning goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are practical, interactive, and tailored to each student’s level and learning goals. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorizing solutions.

I explain difficult programming and Computer Science topics step by step using simple examples, diagrams, and hands-on exercises. For programming lessons, we will work through coding problems together before you practice solving similar problems independently. I can also help you understand university coursework, prepare for assessments, debug code, and strengthen your problem-solving skills.

Lessons typically run for 1–2 hours and can cover Python, C#, object-oriented programming, programming fundamentals, algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, IT security, and other Computer Science topics.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, high school students, and university students. The pace and content of each lesson will be adapted to your experience, whether you are learning to code for the first time or working on more advanced Computer Science subjects.
