About Daniel
I have been studying and researching philosophy for about a decade, and have two masters on the field, one in Ancient philosophy and one in contemporary philosophy, with a focus on how to deal with the Anthropocene. Currently I am doing a PhD at uOttawa.
I believe philosophy can help everyone develop and grow as a person.
Classes are usually a presentation of thinkers, ideas and texts, but I have also explored many learn-by-doing approaches and will try to taylor each experience to the needs of the student.

Classes are usually a presentation of the history of philosophy, following the main authors and their work.
The student will learn the main areas of thought in philosophy and also how to read a text, focusing on the connection each author makes to those who came before them.
Lessons are intended for all those who are interested in philosophy, and tutoring for specific levels can be arranged.
I have studied both Ancient philosophy (with a focus on Plato) and contemporary philosophy, and my current research is about utopia, the future and the Anthropocene.
