About Omid
I completed my undergraduate degree in Political Science and Public Administration, followed by a master's degree in Philosophy and another in Public Ethics. My other areas of interest include ancient Eastern texts, particularly Iranian literature. Additionally, I have extensive experience in yoga, which complements my academic pursuits by fostering a holistic understanding of mind and body.

As a philosophy tutor, my teaching approach is rooted in fostering critical thinking and encouraging intellectual curiosity. I prioritize dialogue-based learning, where students are invited to engage with philosophical concepts through guided discussions, reflective questioning, and case studies. I incorporate a blend of Socratic questioning and problem-based learning to challenge students to think deeply and articulate their thoughts clearly.
I also utilize analogies, real-world examples, and interdisciplinary connections to make abstract philosophical ideas more relatable and understandable. This approach not only helps students grasp complex theories but also enables them to see the relevance of philosophy in everyday life.
