I am patient with my students because I would hope for patience from my teachers. I also try to bring a positive attitude to every tutoring session and I try to empower my students to actually like and enjoy writing.
I am a third-year political science & philosophy major at the University of Toronto. I am the music editor for the newspaper - University of Toronto's Independent Publication, and I am also a Senior Editor for Noesis - University of Toronto's Undergraduate Philosophy Journal. I have experience editing for academic publications and student newspapers. I love to write, because it is something that came naturally to me. I also love to edit, because as much as I like creating something that first existed solely in my mind, I find it easier to work on something that is physically in front of me. When I edit, I become very detail-oriented and do my best to pick up grammatical issues, as well as phrasing that does not flow smoothly on paper.
