About Willow

My passion for physics began with fascination for natural phenomena and the underlying laws that govern matter and energy. This led me to pursue a B.S. in Physics and an M.S. in Astrophysics, providing a strong foundation in both theory and observation. Over 7 years, I have guided students across a wide range of levels, focusing on conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and real-world applications.

I teach with clarity, patience, and interactive methods. Lessons include demonstrations, visualizations, stepwise problem-solving, and discussions that make physics engaging and approachable. I emphasize understanding over memorization, helping learners think independently and develop confidence in their abilities.

Outside teaching, I remain engaged with research, simulations, and scientific developments, integrating current insights into lessons. Watching students progress from uncertainty to mastery, develop analytical thinking, and enjoy exploring physics is profoundly rewarding. My aim is to foster learners who approach science with curiosity, confidence, and intellectual rigor.

About the lesson

Physics becomes accessible and engaging when students can connect fundamental laws to the world around them. My lessons cover classical mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum physics, and astrophysics. I emphasize conceptual clarity, problem-solving skills, and real-life applications, using visualizations, thought experiments, and interactive discussions to deepen understanding. Each session nurtures curiosity, analytical thinking, and scientific reasoning.

Lesson plans are tailored to proficiency. Beginners explore basic principles such as motion, forces, and energy conservation with clear, step-by-step guidance. Intermediate learners study electromagnetism, thermodynamic laws, wave behavior, and circuit analysis. Advanced learners tackle quantum phenomena, relativity, astrophysics concepts, and advanced problem-solving, preparing for academic challenges or research exploration. Lessons integrate hands-on demonstrations, problem exercises, and conceptual discussions to ensure mastery and confidence.
