About Purnima

My fascination with Physics began when I was young, intrigued by motion, energy, and the unseen forces shaping the universe. I pursued a B.Sc in Physics to deepen my understanding of mechanics, electromagnetism, waves, and optics. For the past 11 years, I have dedicated myself to teaching, helping students gain clarity, build confidence, and develop strong problem-solving skills in this subject that many initially find intimidating. I teach with patience, structure, and adaptability, focusing on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I break complex topics into manageable steps, employ visual aids, and provide real-world examples to reinforce learning. My aim is to create a supportive classroom environment where learners feel safe to ask questions, experiment with ideas, and grow intellectually. Outside of teaching, I engage with contemporary physics research, conduct experiments, and explore emerging educational strategies. This engagement allows me to bring relevant, real-world context into lessons, helping students connect theory to application. Watching learners develop logical reasoning, independent thinking, and genuine curiosity about the universe is profoundly rewarding. Supporting students as they gain confidence and mastery in Physics—and witnessing the growth of their intellectual independence—is the highlight of my professional journey.

About the lesson

Physics is most engaging when students understand the principles behind the phenomena they observe in daily life. My lessons cover mechanics, energy, waves, electricity, magnetism, and introductory modern physics in a structured, stepwise manner that emphasizes conceptual clarity. I use diagrams, real-life examples, and intuitive analogies to help learners visualize problems, develop reasoning skills, and approach problem-solving with confidence. This method reduces reliance on memorization and encourages curiosity, making Physics both understandable and enjoyable.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s level. Beginners explore Newtonian motion, basic energy principles, simple circuits, and introductory wave behavior. Intermediate learners focus on momentum, work-energy relationships, wave mechanics, fields, and forces. Advanced students tackle complex derivations, multi-step problems, vector applications, and examination-style reasoning. I incorporate guided practice, thoughtful questioning, and detailed feedback to strengthen understanding and promote independent analytical thinking.

Physics strengthens critical thinking, observation, and systematic problem-solving. Students learn to analyze situations logically, interpret data, and approach challenges with clarity and confidence. By connecting theory to practical examples, learners develop not only academic skill but also curiosity about the natural world and its governing laws. They begin to think creatively about experiments, predict outcomes, and apply concepts across different contexts. My goal is to cultivate both intellectual rigor and enthusiasm, enabling students to approach difficult concepts calmly and with confidence, ultimately preparing them for academic success and a lifelong appreciation of Physics.
