About Azmal

I am a Physics Graduate from Imperial College, London with over 20+ years of successful tutoring of Maths and Physics GCSEs, alongside 11+ entrance examinations. My approach centres around building confidence. I believe that every student has the potential to thrive - it just takes confidence to make that difference. - I tailor my teaching to each student’s unique learning style and pace. - I explain complex topics in a straightforward manner, ensuring clarity. - I am accessible for questions and support outside of tutoring sessions.

About the lesson

My technique revolves around ENJOYING the experience of learning. I have over 20 years of private tutoring in Maths, Physics and 11+ entrance examinations. All of my students have all valued their learning with me. My lessons are typically 1 hour in length to maximise concentration levels. What I do is: 1) Get to understand the student's current ability, their goals and their requirements 2) Work out specific topics that the student would want to concentrate on 2) Suggest a tailored strategy to bring the student up to par and then to excel in their subject. Communication and confidence is key.

This helps to put my daughter at ease, He began teaching my daughter at the beginning of Year 10 and now she has increased her predicted grade and gained a lot of confidence in Maths. He is a very understanding tutor and always made her feel at ease even when she was frustrated with certain topics that she found difficult.
