About Hugo

My name is Hugo Llanos Campos, I'm Chilean, 27 years old and have a master's degree in piano at the MUK in Vienna.

I started my musical career on the piano when I was 7 years old. I studied at the Universidad Mayor Conservatory in Santiago and then moved to Vienna to improve myself.
At a young age I won numerous international competitions and important music prizes, such as the international piano competition "Claudio Arrau", the international music competition in Osaka, the international piano competition "Delia Steinberg" and the international Bechstein-Bruckner piano competition.
I'm also a experienced chamber musician. I have a duo with cello "Duo Selvaggio", we have recorded an album that has numerous musical awards in the musical world. Also a duo with clarinet "Duo Gossner - Llanos Campos", with which we have been awarded in several international competitions.

In the musical field, I love everything that has to do with piano making. I have perfect pitch, which is why I regularly tune pianos. A very personal area that I also deal with, is piano teaching. I have experience teaching various students from ages 4 to old adults. Many of them later trained at conservatories and universities.

About the lesson

I firmly believe that quantity does not mean quality when it comes to teaching.

- For this reason, my lessons are based on the concept of "one lesson - one hour"
-The teaching method is based on the needs of the student, so that the lessons are as individual as possible. If you have to study from the beginning, I will teach you down to the smallest detail so that you can make progress by all means. Lessons are divided into music theory and piano.
-As a teacher, I usually ask what is necessary for my students to progress. I am very patient and love to see how satisfied my students are with what they have learned or how they are making progress.
-My lessons are for everyone. It doesn't matter how old you are, it can be a child from 4 years old to older adults. What is important is that the person has the desire, will, and discipline to learn.
