About Mahmoud

Nice to meet you, I'm a 23-year-old Egyptian-Canadian with a strong passion for piano and music. I have been playing the piano since the age of 7, when my parents booked my first piano lesson for me. I began piano exams at 9 years old, but this is definitely not mandatory.
Outside of piano, I recently completed my bachelors in Computer Science. I enjoy tennis and basketball too.

About the lesson

My teaching ideology is allowing the students the freedom to develop their own passion for piano. I believe that music is traditionally taught in a forceful manner that prevents students from enjoying the art of the instrument, and this tradition should change.
In my lessons, we will be following a piano book that is appropriate for your level. I will teach also you the necessary theory to thrive and appreciate music as you improve.
My strength is patience, as I've done several camps where I had to look after children. I most enjoy teaching children, however all ages are welcome. I've done Grade 8 RCM, so I'm comfortable teaching up to Grade 4.
