About Lily
I have played piano for 10+ years now as a soloist. I also have experience as a piano accompanist and am trained in classical theory. Presently, I have completed all RCM grades and have achieved First Class Honors in my final examination. I have taught multiple RCM students, as well as numerous beginners. The RCM students I have taught have all obtained at least 80% in their RCM examinations. I strive for excellence in my own playing and hope to instill the same level of playing in all my students.

I base my lessons on the Piano Adventures series as well as the RCM books. I aim to educate youth and encourage an interest in musical studies. Learning music helps with everyday tasks, such as problem-solving! Regular practice of music also helps instill a sense of self-discipline, as well as time management. My lessons are tailored to each unique individual I teach, and I always take into consideration their learning styles as well as their preferences for music!

Perfect! Lily was very kind and patient with my 5 year old during his first lesson. She made it easy for him to learn and understand. Highly recommend.
Perfect! Lily was knowledgeable about all aspects of piano, and it was easy to see that she was passionate about teaching. My son has already made considerable progress with her in only a matter of months and I can't wait to see what else he can learn!

Details
Depending on the student, they may need more time but I find that a lesson of 30 minutes per week will suffice. Payments will be made monthly, and an additional travel fee will be added according to distance.
