About Alex

I have been a pianist for over 15 years and have completed 8 years of formal examinations by the Royal School of Music as well as recently acquiring my diploma in Piano Performance (ARSM). I play three instruments alongside the piano including violin, viola, and the harpsichord. I enjoy singing as well and have a vast knowledge of the ancient Byzantine chant system of the Orthodox Church. Music is my passion and all aspects of my life involve some form of music and I am very eager to share this passion with you and help you achieve the goals you are aiming for on your musical journey. About the lesson

I am a qualified music teacher with a Diploma in piano performance from the ABRSM.

I have been playing piano for over 15 years and it is my passion to teach music to others.

I have taught music privately to students of all ages, from adults to young children. My lessons range from the very beginnings of piano instruction through to advanced piano performance, teaching you the fundamentals tenets of theory, sight-reading and aural to help aid the learning process.

In addition to recreational learning, my lessons are also catered to students who are preparing for their music examinations in Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), Trinity College or other music exams.

Perfect! Chris has been learning from Alex for over a year now, and we are truly amazed by his progress.
When Chris first started, he could only play by relying on memory and following along with guidance. Now, he has grown into being able to read simple sheet music on his own and play independently. It brings him so much joy to explore and play simple tunes by himself, and as parents, we are glad to see how music has brought happiness and something special into his life.
Alex gives Chris lots of encouragement, and effective teaching methods have made a real difference. Thank him inspiring Chris and helping him discover the joy of music. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dedicated and talented piano teacher!
