About Eddy
Eddy began formal music training at the age of three and later earned the Associateship of the Trinity College London (ATCL) in Piano Performance, an equivalent standard to the Royal Conservatory of Toronto’s ARCT diploma. During his high school years, he served as the principal pianist of the school orchestra and performed major works including the Grieg Piano Concerto and the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto.
With extensive experience teaching young learners, Eddy combines strong musical expertise with an engaging, student-centered approach. His students have achieved exceptional results, including 100% first-class honours in RCM examinations, successful admission into arts-focused schools through piano auditions within six months of preparation, and multiple awards in regional piano competitions. Eddy’s goal is to inspire disciplined musicianship while keeping lessons motivating, structured, and enjoyable.

Lessons are designed to build a strong technical and musical foundation tailored to each student's level and goals. Instruction focuses on technique development, repertoire interpretation, theory integration, and musicianship skills essential for auditions, examinations, and performance.
Each student receives a structured learning plan that includes:
-> Audition coaching for arts school entrance, including repertoire selection, performance readiness, and mock auditions
-> RCM exam preparation with a methodical approach to repertoire, technique, sight reading, and ear training
-> Competition training, emphasizing stage confidence, tone control, stylistic accuracy, and musical expression
-> Regular progress evaluations and practice strategies to ensure consistent improvement
-> A supportive but disciplined teaching environment that encourages long-term musical growth
The goal is to help every student develop confidence, artistry, and a lifelong appreciation for music, whether they are learning for enrichment or preparing for advanced performance paths.
