About Margit
Hi, I’m Margit! I’m a high school teacher in Calgary and have been teaching piano for several years. Teaching is my main profession, so I have lots of experience working with children and adapting lessons to different learning styles and ages.
I mainly offer piano lessons to beginners and enjoy helping students learn the basics, get comfortable reading music, and work toward playing songs they enjoy. I keep lessons relaxed and age-appropriate while still making sure students are building the skills they need to improve

I want lessons to be a fun and encouraging introduction to music while helping students build a strong foundation. We can work on reading music, learning notes, rhythm, technique, basic theory, and learning songs they enjoy.
Lessons will be tailored to each child’s age, experience level, and interests. My goal is to help students feel comfortable at the piano, build their confidence, and develop skills they can continue to grow with.
