About Valentina
With more than 8 years of experience teaching piano, I specialize in guiding college students toward strong technical skills and musical confidence. My lessons are personalized and designed around each student’s strengths and learning style. I combine traditional piano training with innovative techniques like improvisation, modern music arrangements, and interactive sight-reading practice.
I focus on technique, rhythm, music theory, and performance preparation while encouraging creativity and self-expression. I believe piano learning should be enjoyable and inspiring. My aim is to help students improve steadily, gain confidence, and develop a lifelong connection with music.

My piano teaching approach combines creativity, mentorship, and accountability. I focus on helping students develop technical skills, musical understanding, and confidence.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, exploring various music genres, and playing songs that students love. Lessons are engaging and allow students to express themselves naturally.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I explain rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple, practical steps. Students learn to reflect on their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is built through goal setting, consistent practice routines, and regular feedback. This ensures students stay focused, disciplined, and consistent in their learning.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm practice, keyboard skills, and basic composition to support comprehensive musical development.
