About Oakley
With over 6 years of experience teaching piano both online and in-person, I help students develop technical mastery and musical expression. I earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a pedagogy focus. My teaching emphasizes sight-reading fluency, detailed score analysis, and expressive interpretation of classical works.
I adapt lessons to meet each student’s goals, incorporating music theory, history, finger exercises, and period performance practices. I have taught learners from beginners to professional pianists. Lessons combine technical skill with interpretive insight.
I focus on helping students read, analyze, and perform complex repertoire confidently. Every lesson balances structured exercises with creative expression.
