About Frankie
Frankie Wong is an accomplished pianist and music educator with over five years of teaching experience, guiding students from young beginners to adults toward success in competitions and graded examinations. A First Class Honors graduate in Music Education and Piano Performance from Hong Kong Baptist University, he was awarded a Government Funding Scholarship and named salutatorian. His training includes advanced piano studies with a university professor and professional conducting studies with a former resident conductor of a major symphony orchestra. Specializing in both practical and theoretical instruction, Frankie teaches using the RCM curriculum, integrates music theory, and employs engaging, interactive methods that make learning enjoyable and memorable. Currently a music teacher at one of the world’s top 20 ranked boarding schools, he also holds the ATCL Diploma in Piano Performance, ABRSM Grade 8 Piano (Distinction), and ABRSM Grade 8 Theory, and remains active as a performer and accompanist.

Lessons emphasize the development of strong music reading and listening skills through an interactive and engaging approach. Instruction follows the RCM curriculum and integrates music theory, while incorporating fun historical stories to help students remember concepts more effectively.
Classes are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable for learners aged seven to adult, with adult students sometimes exploring popular music and chord progressions.
Lessons are available online or in-home for both piano and music theory, with a minimum length of 45 minutes, ensuring accessible, flexible, and high-quality instruction supported by extensive teaching experience.
