About Madeline
My journey with piano began with a fascination for melody, harmony, and expressive potential. I earned a B.Mus in Piano Performance, focusing on technique, repertoire, and musical interpretation. Over the past 8 years, I have taught students of all ages and abilities, emphasizing technical proficiency, expressive artistry, and performance confidence. I teach with patience, clarity, and personalized guidance. Lessons combine structured exercises, repertoire practice, interpretive coaching, and performance simulation to help students internalize concepts and develop independence. I encourage creativity, experimentation, and self-expression to foster confidence and deeper musical understanding. Outside teaching, I actively perform, study diverse repertoire, and engage with music communities to enrich lessons. Witnessing students transform from hesitant beginners to confident pianists capable of expressive and nuanced performance is profoundly rewarding. My mission is to cultivate both technical expertise and artistic passion, empowering learners to develop lifelong musical skills, creativity, and self-assurance in performance.

Lesson plans are tailored to the student’s level. Beginners focus on hand positioning, basic scales, and simple repertoire. Advanced students refine expressive interpretation, improvisation, and performance techniques while preparing for recitals or examinations. Guided practice, demonstrations, and feedback encourage consistent improvement and musical independence.
