About Théo
I am doing a master's degree in applied mathematics at the École Polytechnique, and I am currently doing an internship in epidemiological modeling at the Arts et Métiers research center.
I joined a Parisian preparatory school after a provincial high school. I developed a passion for mathematics and physics, and the certainty that everyone can progress phenomenally by following the right working methods.
For the past three years, I have decided to support students in this direction and this from distance learning platforms due to the health context. This year, I want to continue this student job face-to-face in order to be closer to my students, hence my announcement on superprof.

I am a listening and passionate teacher, whose primary objective is to give students confidence in their math and physics skills.
Prep:
- in addition to the mathematical content, I make sure that my students acquire the right writing reflexes and the best strategies during the tests, which often make the difference in the most prestigious competitive exams
- I try to clarify ALL the fuzzy points of the course which are responsible for hesitations in written tests and blockages in oral exams, because I believe that self-confidence is the best way to obtain a great mark, more than the knowledge of maths tricks that are difficult to use under exam conditions
- I offer at the end of my lessons a quarter of an hour of coaching in work organization where I help the student to establish and respect an order of priority in his homework: lessons > usual exercises > DM > mock exams
High school :
- I guide students with pedagogy towards mastering the fundamentals: logical reasoning, calculating quickly and without mistakes, effectively putting a problem into an equation
- I give a taste for science to my most comfortable students by offering them exercises to help them develop their mathematical intuition
